Leaves: In 4's closely pressed, equal in size, oblong-
obovate, finely pointed, lustrous dark green; on main shoots
about 1/2" long with lateral pair boat shaped almost enclosing
the facial pair; aromatic odor when crushed.

Young trees have smooth, thin grayish green or scaly.
