Leaves: Short, thick clusters of blue green to almost silvery blue needles hang 30 to 40 per spur from Horizontally arranged limbs scattered along the trunk.

Notes: Well adapted to the Athens area, but not suitable as street trees or parking-lot trees but rather open grown specimen trees enhancing the landscape.

Bark: Gray-brown to brown forming a pebble-like Structure on old trunks, characteristic of all cedars.
